MISCELLANEOUSMUSICThinking Iford Manor - the best teas anywhere
I've actually got a blend named after me: Dr Merryweather's Caddy 'A' (under 'Black Teas'). Surely that's grander than an OBE. Lots more to explore here.
Karachi Restaurant, Bradford
I've been going since the late seventies and never had a bad one yet. Most meals have been wonderful and cheap. My favourites are onion bahji or chicken tikka starter and then Keema Bouna with chapatis.
The best cheddar ever (well, since I were a lad in Cambridge, helping out me Dad in his grocer's shop).
WHITE HORSE CAFE, THIRSK
After my first 'One of Each' here I popped in and thanked the proprietor for the best F&C I'd had since I was a kid and asked his secret. Beef dripping, he replied. Q.E.D.
Yorkshire Terrier, Centurion's Ghost and an array of other fine ales. Fabulous. I wear their clothing. Sadly, no more, but I can't bear to delete this entry.
